Albert James Hettinger was born October 24th 1919. He was part of the 2nd Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron, 311th Photographic wing. Hettinger participated in the Aleutian Islands Campaign, New Guinea Campaign, the Philippines Liberation and photographed the first aerial images of Alaskan glaciers for mapping purposes. |
This very rare exhibit of 10 original vintage Gelatin Silver Prints that have been in the private collection of the photographer, and have never been seen by the public before will be for sale and on exhibition exclusively at Geras Tousignant Gallery from November 11th until December 1st. We expect all the work to sell, and we ask that everything stays in the gallery until the exhibit is over, so that everyone has a chance to view this exciting rare collection of images.
