Kirsten Tradowsky

Kirsten Tradowsky
b. 1980
Kirsten Tradowsky mines the past with one foot firmly rooted in the contemporary. Sourcing imagery from estate sales, photographs and online auctions, Tradowsky venerates her subjects by stripping them from their original context and valuation. The resulting paintings entice nostalgia and encourage a dialogue of time and culture.
Tradowsky’s work has been exhibited throughout U.S. Including Geras Tousignant Gallery San Francisco. Tradowsky earned a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and an MFA from California College of Arts. Tradowsky currently lives and works in San Francisco.

For this Exhibit Tradowsky created a series of Palm Springs inspired paintings specifically for Geras Tousignant Gallery - Palm Springs
