James has created a series of highly stylized fine art photographic images culminating in the project, FIXATION. The new works explore the uniqueness of the individual, and allowed for exploration of topics other than what James was best known for. But while the subject matter may be different, the overall theme of Geras’ earlier works is still apparent: however, the fragmentation of image is now seen more subtly within the photograph itself. When viewing the pieces, you begin to notice intricacies within the frame and nuances that make each observation a little different than previously seen.

James lent his artistic efforts at “Angel Art” to benefit Project Angel Food.
